How OMYGOD came to be

OMYGOD was born out of a real need at home.

The idea came from my eldest daughter, Olivia. She was 5 years old and would spend her nights with fears. One day she asked me for something that left me stunned:

"Mom, if I had a Virgin Mary plushie, I would hug Her and wouldn't wake you up..."

I thought this could only come from God.

And so we started to draw her, to create her, with what Olivia was suggesting to us. She had to be very sweet and very beautiful and had to give us love, joy, and peace. It has taken us almost three years to have her; it hasn't been easy, but we had to make her!

Since my girls have Mary, they sleep so peacefully. If they wake up someday and come with fear, we tell them that the Virgin is with them, and they go back to bed completely confident.

They also take her to school, to the park, to the doctor, when traveling... Everywhere they go with Her.

It's so touching to see the older children hugging the little Virgin.

It comforts the sick to have her by their side.

What is our mission?

At OMYGOD, we want children to discover faith in a beautiful and relatable way. We believe that learning to trust in God can also come from everyday moments: a hug before bed, a moment of calm, the feeling that someone is watching over them.

That's why we create plush toys that accompany and provide security, inspired by the love of Mary and the light of Jesus. We want to be present during those nights when fear or nightmares appear, and help families transmit faith with simplicity, without grand words, just with affection.

Our mission is to offer young children a plush toy that reminds them they are never alone and can always trust. A simple and tender way to bring them closer to God from their very first dreams.

Why transmit faith to children?

They feel unconditionally loved

Knowing that God loves them makes them feel valuable and unique, gradually shaping them into freer people more capable of love.

They sleep soundly and safely

Faith acts as an invisible embrace that restores calm, making nightmares less frightening when there is someone to ask for protection.

They're never alone

They feel that a close presence always accompanies them, giving them inner strength at school, in the dark, or on difficult days.

They learn to trust and to forgive

They live their faith as a natural relationship that gives them hope in the face of confusion and teaches them to forgive others as they feel forgiven themselves.

They discover a profound joy

They experience an inner peace and happiness that springs from within, making them shine and not depend on material things.

They grow up with authentic values

They learn to be good and to share naturally, not because it's a lesson or an obligation, but because they feel it in their hearts.

"There's your mother."
